Tract 12183, formerly part of TWPD’s Unit #122 near Newton. The lease will be part of the Hackberry Branch Deer Management Association with restrictive deer harvest guidelines. The hunting club will be required to collect deer harvest records, hunter observations, and census data (spotlight or camera surveys). The hunting club will have access to a designated campsite; the campsite has no water or electricity. The tract has hardwood drains, bottomland, and pine uplands in variant stages of timber growth and management practices. Adjacent landowners may have access through the tract.

Location

The lease is located North of Newton off Hwy 87. Take a left on CR 1010, and follow around to CR 1014. The lease is on the right and on the east side of the airport.
